Spending the evening taking care of his stage duties, Taylor Lautner turned up for Spike TV’s Scream Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday night (October 17). The “Twilight” hunk looked studly in a black leather jacket, black t-shirt and dark jeans, gracing the Greek Theatre to present a “New Moon” clip and pick up Breakthrough Actor honors. Meanwhile, Mr Lautner recently chatted with press about his fondness for hanging out with co-star Kristen Stewart during the filming process due to her impressive football skills. He tells, “Surprisingly she has a really good arch — she is very accurate. I always carry a football around with me and I would play catch with the guys and then Kristen said she wanted to play.” Taylor adds, “I threw the ball to her and she became my buddy.”
Gossip Cop looked into the New Moon London premiere rumors swirling earlier today. As we reported this morning, it was announced by an Irish cinema that there would be no London New Moon premiere. So we asked @gossipcop what the truth was, and they have now confirmed the rumor. Gossip Cop was flooded with questions all day today about the “London premiere of ‘New Moon’ being canceled.” While most of you already know about Twilight’s scheduled premiere, we did receive so many inquiries today about the cancellation of a supposed London opening, we wanted to set the record straight.
Gossip Cop has confirmed with a spokesman for the production that London was never slated for the opening. Los Angeles was always to host the world premiere on November 16. ”Summit all along has been working towards an L.A.-based premiere,” a source close to the production confirms to Gossip Cop, adding, “there were never any plans for a world premiere of the film in London.”
If anything changes as we get closer to the movie’s release, Gossip Cop will keep you updated.
